Queen of Pentacles
The evolution of a drawing in reverse order.
Finished Pencil. A Magpie alights with a gift. More contrast. Building on an idea. A Silver Fox appears.
Horse
and Rose
She draws the cards
The Horse and The Rose,
And casts her spell upon
The unwritten page of my tomorrow.
A thousand miles away
I pick up the scent.
Something intangible shifts and realigns.
She draws an image from my mind
And flaunts it before me.
"Do you believe me now?"
She whispers across a candle flame
That spans the impossible distance.
The veil is thin.
"Will you or will you not be bound?"
"Will you or will you not follow your desire?"
"You know you want me."
I'm losing it again.
Chasing phantoms from inside
My self made prison.
Shall I wait until the eleventh hour?
She has been foretold to me.
The Queen of Pentacles.
